Eto'o was part of the summer's biggest transfer saga when he moved from the Catalan club to the Serie A giants as part of a deal that saw Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic move in the opposite direction. And after settling in at the San Siro under charismatic coach Jose Mourinho, the Cameroon striker was keen to voice his opinion on the record move.
Speaking to the Inter website Eto'o commented "For me it was an honor to wear the shirt of a club that is so important. "I left Spain with my head held high, but now I have moved on from there and am happy at my new club." Despite constant speculation that his move was prompted by a souring relationship with Barca club president Joan Laporta, the prolific striker refused to use that as an excuse.
He continued, "My relationship with Laporta? I always had a direct relationship with him, in that if I said something, we would be able to discuss it like men.
